Welcome to General Gayety, the home for the giggles at the end of the rainbow.

This blog is for anyone who likes humor mixed in with LGBT issues. Be you lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, straight, queer, intersex, two-spirit, asexual or a term to be named later, you’ll find something here that tickles your fancy.

General Gayety is stuffed with photos, videos and cartoons. Those I curate, not create. My offerings are pithy posts on LGBT news and concerns. Also here are many of the humor columns I wrote until recently for the gay press. Pick an issue—I probably wrote about it.

A host of characters traipse through these virtual pages, ranging from Pope Benedict XVI to RuPaul, Fred Phelps to Dolly Parton, Mitt Romney to Bert and Ernie.
