Clinton vs. Trump, Round 2

After Donald Trump threatened to throw Hillary Clinton in prison and called her the devil during the second presidential debate, I was in a state of shock.  His approach to that debate wasn't scorched earth--it was scorched universe.

I'm now sufficiently recovered--just--to look at how LGBT rights fared during that debate.  Unlike the first debate, the subject did come up, albeit in a teeny-weeny way.  When asked about the Supreme Court, Clinton said she wants, among other things, a "Court that will stick with marriage equality."

Trump said he wants to appoint justices exactly like Antonin Scalia.  Which is the same as saying he wants a Supreme Court that will reject marriage equality.  And snarkily.

The other point of LGBT interest was that Anderson Cooper became the first openly gay person to serve as a moderator for a presidential debate in the general election.  That fact might've gotten more attention, but when one of the debaters is the world's biggest media whore, Cooper is lucky anyone remembers he was in the room.
