On This Easter

Welcome to the direct result of my withdrawal.

I wrote a humor column for LGBTQ publications around the U.S., you see, and after a decade financial need rudely forced me to stop. But I missed mixing humor with queer issues. I longed to poke at the Pope, highlight homophobia and sound off on same-sex marriage. There was nothing else for it: I had to resurrect the General Gayety column as the General Gayety blog.

While I still rarely have time to write a column, I do manage short posts on LGBTQ news and concerns. I also trawl the Internet for funny photos, memes, cartoons and videos. Every Wednesday I post This Week's Quote, amusing words with an LGBTQ connection.
